Who told me what? I worked for Zimmer. I know first hand the problems with the products. And if you think Zimmer Biomet is going to keep 2 full sales forces you are totally delusional. There is a reason Carlsbad is closing. A little thing called redundancy. You may want to look that one up.
 




Most 3i reps are saying their surgeons "love" them and will stop buying if there is a change in the rep. They're happy to announce they are worry free because the doctors call all the shots !?Unless a third party was hired to make decisions on the reps based on numbers only the most favored will stay. This is based on strong alliances only - not how many years they made goal or how much growth they've had. In all mergers it's who you know.
 








The reality is that the strong from both sales forces will stay and the weak will be let go. If your territory is growing and doing big $ you're good. If your nu,bets are flat or declining and the partner 3i rep in the same territory is growing his numbers guess who,is headed to unemployment? The merge was done to create scale and reduce cost. These implant companies show human resources as their largest expense so that's what will be looked at first.

Not only that, but the cost of living in FL is much lower than the Socialist State of CA, meaning that operating expenses, salaries, taxes, etc., will be reduced. The Biomet facility is paid for and has room to grow. Plus, there's currently no water shortage.

$$$$'s and margins will decide who stays and who goes. Won't matter if your Zimmer or 3i. They decisions to come will be very objective ones. Regional Mangers air in the sights. 3i wins on that front furthermore Zimmer reps were being overpaid as coated to 3i. It's going to boil down to pure economics.

Wrong again. 3i has held on to many reps over the years who don't make goal or have little growth. A rep was promoted to manager after not making goal for years. Management either gets very tight with a rep or they don't. And HR is led by management. If anyone has had a long career with 3i it was due to relationships with the right people. Currently if no Biomet people are deciding on who stays then maybe $$ will decide the outcome.

Zimmer sucks!!!! The decisions of who will remain with the newly formed company will be evaluated on several parameters. These being: dollar volumes, territory profit margins and Their value to the company. The Regional Managers in both companies are all vulnerable however many of the Biometric RM's have great reputations in the industry. It is a well known fact that Zimmer reps are overpaid and complacent. So it will boil down to pure economics, asshole. Maybe your mama is from Camden or Detroit!!!

Do you know anything about Zimmers comp plan?? 75% of Zimmer reps make a salery (the same as yours) because of a 10-12% growth expectation year over year. Zimmer reps on 3i's comp plan would make 20k more in most markets. The ones that make a higher salery have earned it. Youre obviously a 3i rep and the question you really need to ask yourself is does the Zimmer rep in your market hit every year...if so, youre screwed. WTF is Biometric and how old are you?? My 14 yr old has grown out of throwing around "your mama"?? Im sure it will be easy to spot you tomorrow in Orlando...you"ll be the one making a complete ass out of yourself im sure.
