Does Sunshine act affect our marketing?

I see that in pharma the Sunshine act is affecting doctors closing doors to lunches. I would hope they would still keep them open for HH reps as this is my only way in alot of places.. anyone know? Hasn't happened to me yet, but I am changing companies, get a really nice budget and would like to be able to use it!

Pharma rep here. My territory is Jackson, Michigan and we have a local home health company in the area. It seems to me that home health reps don't do lunches. Never see them on the calendar.
 




Wrong! HH reps DO do lunches--breakfasts, dinners whatever. THey also still have pens, paper, and other giveaways that pharma reps don't. There are some yearly limits/guidelines but basically it's not complicated.
 




WE have 927 agencies in my territory... we do lots of lunches, happy hours, spa nights... all the things pharma cannot do anymore.. yes.. I was a pharma rep in the good ole days... before all the layoffs!
