I dont think it is him-this whole big pharmamodel is the work of CZ. :( it will come back to bite us in the ass-access is already closing and backbiting among coworkers is starting. He will be gone in 2 years just like all the other retreads they hired before him. Just hope you can ride it out.

I swear I lauged out loud when I came across this! SH is a joke, I've had many discussions with him and he sincerely things he know what he is doing, and, there is no one who can do it better!

Agree with that not only should CZ go, but most of the sales leadership team (MA). There are one maybe two who DO know what they are doing but for they do not have much say only convey what CZ and others in leadership positions want.

Another group is the BIO group they should start with SS, and, work down in his group clearing house, again, one MAYBE two good ones.

I'm telling you, I have NEVER seen a more incompetent individual than SS. I only wish the board knew WTF was going on under the big top.

It will catch up, trust me.

Steve used to be a good guy but then his title went to his head. I find that he's really not willing to take a stand and has placed yes men & women on his management team. So sad! He forgot where he came from!
 




I disagree guys. I worked for Steve at PDL and EKR for over 5 yrs. He takes care of the sales force. He is no nonsense, anti-big pharma, and knows whats important to move business. If more obstacles are placed in the way they are not placed there by him. I only hope to work again for him.

I bet he was a good guy at PDL, but this is Biogen and the fear of being fired for not "getting on the Chucky train" can change everything. Remember, Steve was hired BEFORE Chuck. Steve is the fourth NSD in the East in 6 years. BW, JD & BA before him. Look at all the other leaders let go. From CEO to two COO's, VP's etc.. The list is endless. This place is a revolving door and just like the rest, SH has taken his seat in the "yes Chuck" mobile.

It's not just the Chucky train as there are several others in place here that have questionable business practice's. If you work closely with Chucky, and / or, internal Weston you know who they are. They are spread across the entire Weston site (including HR). I've seen so many questionable decisions made regarding business, and, employees that it makes many of us sick.
 




The list starts with this expansion. For the love of god are they serious! We have to use for these people. A complete waste of funds only to have layoffs in 4 years. So dumb.

Steve is a good man, but he is powerless. Chuck is the one who must go. Dumb & Dumber folks. We are already big pharma. There's no looking back now. The old BIIB is gone forever. Either stay here and bear it or make the move to a better culture like plenty are doing.
