Mr. Frazier has deemed it necessary to do away with all expenditures that don't earn the company $$$, thus...company picnics are cancelled.

Vending machines earn $ so they get to stay!!

Those were the days!

IT had one 4 years ago near the WHS ball fields. The contractors who took most of our jobs a few months later were also invited. The flyers for the picnic were great, encouraging us to 'learn cricket' and play with the contractors. Batter up!

We also got forms to sign AFTER the picnic allowing them to use our image in any pictures they might have taken.

Merck stopped having picnics once it started eating employees for lunch and dinner and breakfast and snacks. Thank god for the imaginative ways Merck management controls costs and rewards its man eating employees who run the company.

Merck management may not do picnics anymore but they still love to pass out lots and lots of Koolaid for the employees to drink up.
