Old Merck - everyone is a "real" college grad and can write and converse.

New Merck - especially the Barbies and Kens that look good but cannot use a computer nor write but surely can talk. Thus the need for proofreading.

Speaking with experience working with recent college grads as team mates who cannot even use the built-in spell checker in Word to catch some of the most glaring errors.

Our CEO made a very ominous video not 2 months ago speaking very plainly about reassessments and layoffs. Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, is talking about it. Sometimes Cafe Pharma actually has TRUTH hidden in the posts... so of course those of us who know about it are HERE.

This site is LOCKED on the company computer and we are NOT ALLOWED to view it from work (at least those of us who are not in the field). So, thanks for the advice, but no can do.

Now, if anyone out there has any REAL INFO on the upcoming layoffs, please spill... many would like to know what you know...

So true. Our manager wants only big talking kiss ups. Conversing to him is being a smiling, giddy BS artist. Having intelligence doesnt matter, just talk, say nothing but make noise and talk....LOL then watch the doctors roll their eyes and fill out the trust and value scores.

OP Here. You have got to be kidding me with this response. Can you pick up on any sarcasm? Of course there is SOME truth to SOME of the comments on CP. There are also many rumors, false statements, mixed true/false comments, and near Penthouse forum letters posted.
