Does Lilly have a GPA requirement and do they actually check

Someone told me that Lilly checks GPAs before they will hire you and the requirement is 3.0? Anyone know?

It was 3.8 for non-experienced hires right out of school. If you have 5+ years of real experience, your GPA means nothing.

It is definitely a 3.0 and they ask for official transcripts. No exceptions.

They do check, you will need to have your college send your transcripts to Lilly. They do want a minimum 3.0, but they expect higher for college grads. They don't check GPA if you have been in pharma for 10 years, but above poster is right, if you have been in pharma more than 5 years they aren't as strict on GPA. But, will still check it, I know!

NOT!!!

They will take dummies with a 2.75, for all you dummies with non-science backgrounds who did not have to take the 4 hour/week, 1 hour credit labs we had attached to all our gut science courses.

Used to be 3.0, before Lilly dropped its standards on everything and started hiring non-science dummies and went to "Answers that don't matter to anyone". This started at about the same time as the stock price jumped--into the toilet!!!!

Lilly removed the GPA requirement earlier this year. GPA is still a consideration, but you will no longer automatically be screened out if you're under a 2.75.
