Does Inventiv have to pay us for our unused vacation if contract ends?

Our Endo contract ended beginning of Dec, majority of my district was saving vacation to use the end of Dec. We of course find out about we lost our jobs early Dec, we have unused vacation, guess what ???
Inventiv is paying us for the 60 day warn period acting like some great favor. I did some reading but when a company has massive layoffs they are required to pay the 60 day Warn period. Well that is almost to the day our last paycheck. I asked about the unused vacation and we will not be paid for any - total bull but I guarantee they submitted those days to Endo to be paid. We as reps just didn't get paid, we all were asked to submit our remaining vacation days.
Certain reps were told they would receive a payout they were owed from past quarters for Belbuca their Endo counterparts were paid this in Dec but Inventiv still has not paid the Inventiv reps. I was told it is less than 15 reps. Really Inventiv you need those reps money that bad. No one will give them any answers. I told one of the reps I was in training with the longer you don't receive a reply the bigger the change your not getting the money. Shame on you Inventiv, you are stealing money from reps.
Kharma and reps will not stay.

First off, there was no WARN period. Did you receive a WARN letter from inVentiv?--NO Endo was not given WARN either. Besides, the very nature of a contract excludes things like WARN and severances. And it was more than 60 days anyway. You got more than 2 months paid vacation and use of the car, and insurance. And you haven't been working the past few months anyway. Shut the hell up.

count the days - we had the call on / around Dec 14/15 th Dec- We are paid two weeks after the weeks we worked. 12-4/ 12/17 pd on 12/23 that was last full week we worked if you count the days smart arss to the last day we are being paid is Feb 17. Paid on March 3- count the days - 60ish. Realize Endo even the reps who had been there around a year were paid 4 months others were paid 8 month. Yes before you say anything I know we are contract but have you ever left an organization or been downsized when they didn't pay you your vacation. I have not. Thanks Mr Inventiv upper Management you didn't give me anything I worked and most companies pay severance. All I was saying was pay the money I was owed.

My God, shut up you are a moron.

I was on an inVentiv contract that ended mid-August. inVentiv gave us less than 2 weeks notice and paid out our accrued vacation at only 30%, basically stealing from us. Never heard of anything like it. Also, we feel the client probably paid inVentiv through the month of August although we were gone 8/15. inVentiv just kept the money, more than likely, but we'll never know for sure. We were told on the conference call that inVentiv had $200 million of immediate business in the pipeline. Here we are 5 months out and NOTHING of any substance. Thank goodness I found a great opportunity elsewhere.

I think I figured out why you were not paid out vacation. Inventiv vacation is 'use it or lose it' at the end of the year (nothing can be rolled over to the next year). Because they decided to extend you being paid in to the next year (February 2017) if you didnt use those vacation days before Dec 31st 2016 they were lost. Definitely a rip off but consider yourself lucky that they are paying you out into february. Our inventiv contract ended before the end of 2016 and we were only paid out 30% of our total accrued vacation days. You probably got the better deal even though its still unfair.

seems Endo had something to with you all being paid through Feb not Inventiv if I had to guess. I love whoever said shut up. It's not there money so easy for them to say.

The common theme is that IF they do pay, they are only paying 30%. The GSK /Tanzeum team got screwed over when they decided to "pay for one more day in January" - January 2nd - so they were employed one day in 2017, therefore forfeiting all rights to cash in any vacation when the contract ended. That is because vacation could not be carried over into the next year. That screwed a lot of unemployed people out of cash they could have used to survive. They acted like they we doing something nice by paying for one day in January - saying that they were doing it to allow everyone to have insurance in January. But it saved them a ton of money in the end. Many would have rather had the vacation pay instead of the insurance.

This is a typical HR move, and not only does it disqualify you for your vacation pay, it also eliminates one week of potential unemployment.
inVentiv is not nice....they lie, cheat and swindle their employees to make more money for the company. Totally insensitive putzes.

Look at the contract you signed when hired. It's all in there, And employees are being paid for 2 MONTHS! Which includes bonus, benefits and car. There was NO WARN in this situation. So yes...SHUT THE HELL UP AND BE DAMN HAPPY AT HOW WELL INVENTIV IS TREATING YOU ON THIS.
