Does B+L have a positive work environment?

If you feel that B+L has a positive work environment please comment and give specifics as to why you feel B+L can recruit the best talent. I have seen all the negatives in the other postings and I am just wondering if there is anyone that is willing to stick their neck out and comment about what a great place B+L is to work and develop their careers.

Without a doubt this has been the absolute worst experience in my pharma career: poor managers, very micro-managing directors, mediocre products and a general sense of dysfunction. I cannot tell you anything more: poor company, poor outlook, poor environment. Only join if you cannot find anything else.

But I was told that since "Pootie" is associated with B&L, it is viewed as a real "Think-Tank" within pharma! I would be proud to say I work at the same company. Doesn't he represent the best and the brightest? I would love to meet him sometime!

There are only 2 places that I could even consider working at B&L. As a rep, that would be in the North east, under Tom Peterson, who now reports to Dean gass. the only two management level people who have any longevity and understanding. But they still report to perry and phil, so it's still a risk.

The other place you could possibly be okay, is under Rob Meyering as an MSL. But he still answers to Perry and phil, even if he does report to R&D. But at least there is a lot of insulation and you don't have to report directly to Perry and Kathy.

TP, DG and RM know the market well. If you can work for these people, they will look out for you and focus on your development. Unfortunately, there the only ones here who will.

The above poster has clearly been here quite a while and knows what he/she is talking about. We need more like RM and DG and less like KK and PS...PERIOD!

Some positive information about this company. I guess if you work for the right people it is OK. If not you are hurting. At least it is not all bad at B+L.

This company is by far the worst piece of shit job I have had. I wish there were more jobs on the market everyday! I believe everyone at this company wish there were more jobs available. If there were more jobs available their would be a riot to get out of this bitch.

If you think drilling for oil in the ocean does not affect the environment think again and natural gas you are taking something out of the earth that is supposed to be there.It's all about greed and the $$$$$$$$$ (MONEY).
