I must preface this by saying I never worked at Abbvie although the division I worked in became Abbvie shortly after I left the company. In my 28 years there I saw many liars promoted to managers. So many in fact, I thought that knowing how to lie was a prerequisite to becoming a manager. It's not only lying they're good at, but they're usually great backstabbers too. There is something lacking in their wee little brains to be sure.

I must disagree. That must have been some time ago. Abbvie managers, including mine are the finest I've ever worked for. Great things are happening here and I'am not missing this golden egg. I'am coming up on my two year anniversary at Abbvie, and plan to be here another 20 years at least !

You may have plans to stay for 20 but you won't make it past 5. Abbvie is the layoff King. Do your homework and look at the history if you don't believe the posts. Forbes and Barron's is a good place to start. Your pharma experience must have been limited to contract work if Abbvie is your end all; be all.
