Do you work long days and put in a lot of hours trying to see physicians? I am getting concerned about access and Dr.'s poor attitude towards drug reps? How do you keep the positive attitude going? Do you still like this job? I need some positive reinforcement as I'm quite down now. Thanks

Sorry, you won't get any + reinforcement here. 99% of us hate our jobs, and are just here collecting a check. I have been here for some time and am hanging on by a thread. Every day is a struggle. No one wants to see us, we are completely de-valued by providers. It will only get worse. the bright side, is we will be eventually let go and offered a severance so that we can move onto something more fulfilling.

thank you for the thoughts and insight. I wish I could get more motivated. I rarely get any time at all with Dr.'s anymore. Even if I have a lunch, I don't get much time. Thanks

You are dead on. Even when I have a lunch, providers seldom if ever show up. I am there feeding the staff. Can you believe we went to college to sit and listen to what Mabel is doing for the weekend. We have to sit there and pretend like we care. This is STUPID. I find it comical they still need us. How about this one, you walk into an office, "do you have something the physician can sign, just take a seat!"
