do you guys set up in-office labs?

is that a part of your business? i noticed an add for a histotech in kentucky to set up an inoffice lab. the contact person was from miraca life sciences.

How much can this company survive?
Half of the specimens coming in we cannot bill out since are not contracted with the insurance plans so we end up eating that cost.
Many of the offices sending use specimens are in a lab deal where we are doing the tc component and the doctors are doing the pc. How can we be making a profit on that part since we took a 50% hit on the tc component at the beginning of the year?
