Do Not Hire BI REPS

I will be "let go" from the current BI contract and talked to my boss about the new contract. He said the direction of the new BI contract is to make the BI folks think the are getting our jobs/or will be in the running for them but really pull us back in. Anyone know about this?

Attention Ashfield Reps: I'm a DM at BI. We are very angry that Ashfield didn't interview any of the BI reps who posted for their old jobs. We were lied to and told that our reps could go for their own jobs that are being absorbed by Ashfield. We have many talented reps who are going to be let go and you will be replacing them. Many of them have been with us for 10+ years so know that if you are my rep I will be expecting you to be as dedicated, passionate, and hard working as my current team. This isn't a box checking job if you work under me. If this isn't your style, bow out and find another contract. I don't want/need lazy box checkers.

OK, where are you a DM? You sound like a complete bitch, so I might turn back on my offer.
Most DMs feel this way. I'm a guy so I'm not a bitch but a prick! Lol! We talk to each other and I'm not the only one who feels this. Why would I spill the beans on my location. I'm not stupid. Just be aware: If we catch one of you being lazy, getting signatures without it being face to face, if marketshare doesn't improve you will be put under a lot of pressure to perform. Is that what you want? If not, find another job.

You're making me wish I didn't accept the offer!!!

do not pay any attention to this turd. I don't think they are a DM, just a blow hard. I am with BI and don't blame any of you for taking the job. I would take it. The pharma world is just not fair and anyone who thinks it is, is in the wrong business. Yes,we are about to get screwed, but comes with the territory. Best of luck to all of you.

I am a turd. I get results. I've managed contract reps before. Mixed bag. All I ask is you work hard, move marketshare and there won't be a problem.

No, the reason BI reps are being let go is because they didn't produce - and cost too much for what they did produce.

You should thank Ashfield reps for coming in here to salvage your DM job.

I am a professional - don't come in here and assume we will not be better.

In my case, my background has probably went places you cant even get to so stick it.

You can talk smack all you want, I just make things happen so I am not worried and typically DM ploys don't phase me.

You want to help? Stop talking and try selling yourself.

Please believe BI Reps don't give a fuck about you or anything that you do!

Next year will be the Ashfield layoff. Spiriva will go off patent and there will be zero need for any type of Rep to sell something when its generic. Have fun for 1 year.

I love these reps that work for the parent company like BI. They don't realize that at one time there
were 350,000 reps. Now-there are 35,000 nationwide-including contract. You're doomed-slow spiral.
Contract reps don't give a shit about some overpriced piece of shit drug that nobody wants or insurance
unwilling to pay for. They're looking for a job-period.
