Do NBU reps really think they have earned the numbers they were given?







Some reps are sitting at 80% while others are at 120%


Of course they don't. Maybe helped with one or two docs - in all fairness one of my overlays did help me with a tough office with multiple loacations - but it's obvious their "success" correlates with the success of their OBU rep.

I would feel bad for them because it's the luck of the draw with whatever ECPs they got, but for the one good overlay I'm too busy apologizing for the others blindly running all over my offices making us look like idiots.

I agree! They are mak Magnus look like complete idiots. I spend more time explaining why the new person is bothering the doc to get one signature. I don't have any time to detail Xiidra. This is so stupid

I've had the same experience and I've tried to communicate!!!? Two are cool and my offices don't mind them. One of them has been helpful in a few offices because she can actually have a decent conversation. But the other two, holy hell!!!! They couldn't care less they're pissing my offices off, don't try to stick to a schedule and don't know what they hell they're talking about. I've tried to communicate with them, but it's doesn't make a difference. And if I bring it up to my manager I'll be labeled as difficult even though it's only about two of them.
 












We should have regional votes for the best NBU rep and give them a fucking certificate to put on their appraisal of something. Not the rep who hounds us the most with stupid questions or fakes the most calls, but the ones like you guys are talking about that actually work with you and bring value (or try to). Because my rep is not one of those helpful ones and I'd like to shame his ass. He's going to make pretty good money off my hard work and he can't tell you one thing about our business, but he brags to the other reps that he's killing it.
 






OBU rep here......on a scale of 0-10, I give this co-promote with NBU a big 0. They bring absolutely NO value and are totally wasting our docs' time. They need to be focused on V, which is where they are trained & have expertise. This co-promote is the worst thing that has happened since I started working for Shire.

What am i missing here?!? There must be some positive data that PS is looking at, otherwise why the hell are we doing this again in Q3??? annnd now the NBU reps get new doctors. Great, let's make this cluster even worse by changing up the NBU reps in some of the high volume offices.

NBU rep here. I don't think we're getting new OBU docs. My list is the same. Certain reps may have docs added based on their focus but I don't think it's an overhaul
