DM Micromanagement at it’s finest

So my DM is on me because I didn’t log in to Symphony enough times. I know that you care about me and want me to do well but this is a little too much micromanaging for my taste. Like seriously I have sold in this territory for many years and know more about my accounts than I ever could learn from symphony. These managers must have a lot of free time if they are able to sit around and micromanage this much. I could understand if I wasn’t performing, but seriously I am performing and I am working hard. Symphony log ins don’t mean anything!

How do you define “performing” because if you have less than 15 scripts this quarter so far you’re not performing you’re costing the company money. How are you targeting your doctors if you’re not logging into symphony to analyze the data? The fact that you don’t see the value in symphony leads me to believe you’re not “performing” to the best of your ability.

You are an idiot, I am consistently in the upper or top of the rankings and know my accounts well. This is classic micromanagement.

It doesn’t matter how well you know your existing accounts the data changes weekly..analyzing it regularly DOES contribute to growth..the other factor is that you should be consistently acquiring NEW writers and NEW accounts that you DONT already “know” you need to examine their prescribing patterns to alter your pitch. Again you speak vaguely what do you consider top? Top 50% top 20% or top ten? If you are in the top ten based on the numbers and the corresponding reps who ARE in the top ten I would assume you’re in a Medicaid state NY CA TX and you’re riding the coattails of easy processing which is why you don’t think it’s necessary to really work..and yes a part of that work is logging into symphony! congratulations!

Not original poster, but you obviously don’t know what you are talking about, California Medicaid still requires a PA on about 40% of the prescriptions. I know because I am a rep in Southern California. Ask for logins and you shall receive them!
