DM meeting at ORD followed by termination: I blame RF

Recently was placed on a performance improvement plan due to auditing of my location and alleged falsified sales calls. Was told this is standard procedure and was shown my GPS coordinates not corresponding with documented calls. I was told most reps have this type of PIP once in even the most successful careers. Last Thursday was asked to meet with DM and HR at ORD beyond security checkpoint where I was promptly terminated without severance.

What recourse do I have?

Is this part of the PIP process

Are they bluffing?

No. You’re bluffing. No one looks at your GPS coordinates. Do you think there’s a big room at HO with GPS dots and territory lines all over it with all day monitoring? Go back under your rock and see if you can concoct less of a bullshit story.

If you’re on a pip, then they can terminate you without any severance. Case closed.

Why don't you just consult a lawyer? Coming to cafepharma for "recourse" options is like going to webmd for medical advice.

You made up the location of where it was and the GPS part- either to worry people or change the story of what happened to you for anonymity.

If there is proof you wilfully falsified calls, you're done. No recourse. Simple as that. Its a compliance issue.

And by GPS tracking are you referring to the fact that you were most likely entering calls while getting gas (the only way they can actually track location) in a completely different location? Not too difficult to use your head!
