dont DMs have a specific expectation(s) to give to their REPS, not the RD?
if REPS have to sign divisional expectations shouldnt the reps be able to hold the DMs to some sort of standard as well? mutiny anyone?

Spoken like a true Forest manager; so inspirational - it's why all of us just can't wait to go to work in the morning and try for PC. Also why none of us ever forge sigs or fake calls - we're all just so committed to this company.

If you had to sign any kind of divisional expectations I might forward a copy to the HR dept. and make sure it's OK. They typically don't like it when divisions take matters into their own hands.

really? I thought it was common throughout the country for DMs to do this, and I would think the RD would approve these expectations (which we did have to sign) and be in-line with HR

Our DM's in Michigan got in hot water when they pulled that shit a few years ago; of course they've all been fired or demoted now, what a surprise.

No idiot would ever put their name in writing to a DM regarding district expectations, only a moron would agree to such a thing. If it is not in the employee handbook and you sign something of this nature, you get what dumb people deserve.......

its called intimidation, meaning when you are at a meeting with 2 DMs and 8 coworkers, are you really going to be the ONLY one to say NO I am not signing this?

sure, your job would be safe, you dont sign it and you're gone or they make your life miserable (too late, already done)

Best way to protect youself is a recorder. Just ask any rep in the southeast region. Hopefully TS and BP will be going down with CB soon. Recorders are a part of the dress code here

I only have a few taped convo's but they are doozys. My DM knows to mind his antics around me as I have hinted that my attny advised me to record conflicting comments and never sign a field report that is biased and non objective. I have not signed anything field related in 2 years and my DM knows better as if he pressed, it would all collapse around him in a flash.

serious? i am not saying that not signing is a bad thing but i just think there would be too much misery if anyone did that. i do know of a small knumber who have refused to sign they all are gone. while you might be protected short term you know they will be looking for anything and after all we all have 1 million stupid compliance rules they could rod you for at any small time.
