I heard that he was like a hungry hungry hippo at Wyeth (now Pfizer).
He cannibalized his own to get ahead.
It's possible, maybe 15% possible...that he's changed, but I strongly advise watching your back. If you perform for him it doesn't mean that he'll repay the favor with any sort of backing during a reduction or promotion. He has been known to be a completely selfish existentialist.

I've spoken to multiple people in his district and they like him. Maybe it's too early for them to tell, but I trust their judgement more than your vitriol. If you had occurrences with him in the past, why not move on? I assure you the people that currently work for him are talented enough interpersonally to handle any challenges that may arise. Your help is not needed.
