You say "goals" and "rating" and "PIP"?
#1. Everyone should quit trying to litigate for discrimination and unfair termination. You should band together and go for extortion. Band together for Class Action to have IMS data subpoenaed as well as data given reps from N subpoenaed. One could bet that the data does not match. One could hypothesize that the real numbers are lower but if they get raised, the goals could be set by them and likely either close or unachievable.
#2. Reps on PIP should be the first to do this. Most industry reps do not go from HERO to O and then get PIPed. This is ludicris!. If you produce, stay near, at, or slightly over goal, you must have performed to expectations. Many factors contribute to making goal:
A. Were the goals figured accurately and from accurate data?
B. Was local Managed Care factored into making goals? (All Managed Care coverage not equal)
c. Was geographical market data figured into goals? (All markets are not equal)
And the biggest question is: HOW WERE MY GOALS DETERMINED? No one has ever given a straight answer or formulary for this. WHY? Answer: they do not have one and if they do, they will not disclose it because it benefits them and hurts prevents you from exceeding goal and making money! Look at the Fanapt reps,,,big bonuses at first/2nd quarter then payout reduced. Why?
