Shut up. All markets are trending downwards.

I am grateful for my job at Amarin and I have been trying. Managed care just blows and so does the marketing pieces. Oh and that new add? It’s ridiculous. Look at the feedback about the commercial that they were all so proud about. Fire the marketing team and get a new one.

At Amarin? Thought the sales force was Syneos? If so prepare to be tossed the second the generic hits the market

I couldn’t have said it better myself!!! I have NEVER heard in my years at Other pharma companies that writing an “easier” Prior Auth. Is a good thing!! Who are these people in Managed Care at Amarin? We should have excellent coverage by now! When I launched the First and Only drug in it’s class in another pharma company we were put on formulary the next year. Vascepa saves lives and HOW it does it is even better yet they can’t seen to get Vascepa on formularies for 2021 and yet we have quotas to grow over 75%!!! Please tell me how this can be done especially in those areas that have been previous white space?
 


















What?..Really?…You mean those ridiculous, incredibly gay new Vascepa commericals aren't compelling the masses to beg & plead with their Cardiologists, or Family Practice doctors to prescribe this fabulous medication?!
 






It seems from the posts that Amarin is not a good place to work as a Pharma Rep.

Could someone explain something to the contrary ?

Is there potential ?
Is the culture a good one?
Can Amarin overcome any of the negatives I see on the posts?

The drug is Generic. US sales force will be gone before the end of the year. Good Luck

Fish oil? .. every coner in America. The socioeconomics of this drug dont make cents,; pun intended, cost vs benefits (lives SAVED) in the grand scheme of things. It aint worth it. Thats why your drug has a PA. If you didnt relize that till reading this post you are not using your grey matter. Enjoy the ride because this shit show is about done for.

Anyone think layoffs are coming in November or December?
Think one per territory or just make territory larger and combine with other geographies

I think one per territory would be likely scenario. I think middle management, would be slaughtered. There are too many layers of waste.
