Did Wyeth purposely hire douches or did it turn them into douches?

First of all, how is it that every leader i've ever met from Wyeth is a total douchebag and literally destroys the morale of everyone and every piece of the organization that they touch? Next, why did we, at Cephalon, hire these bafoons? Finally, can Cephalon leaders not see how these Wyeth dicks have ruined Frank's company in record time?

Here are all of the Wyeth people in leadership positions that I know of. You tell me which one is smart and not a total morale killer. I've heard it described that if you didn't know better, you would think the competition is paying them.

B.R.: Seems the most normal, but brought over all these morons, so either doesn't care or doesn't know how bad they are.

B.C.: Totally incompetent, but talks a good game. Bad temper. Only cares about what he thinks the "optics" are to the executives (meaning Bob) and doesn't care about what is truly right for the business. Has not been successful with Fentora or Amrix, so we gave him Oncology to ruin. That is on track and in progress.

J.C.: I don't know him too well. Fill in the blanks.

JJ: Not well liked by anyone. Seems as fake as they get. AKA "Eddie Haskell" Only cares about what Bill wants and kisses his ass the likes of which I've never seen done. Has not been successful with Amrix.

J-A T: AKA "Sour Puss" This woman never smiles and never says hello to anyone. She has not been at all successful with Fentora.

T.R.: Don't know him well. Fill in the blanks. He's the sales Director.

G.S.: Sr. Director of HR. He's a hack for the execs. Doesn't get anything done in a timely manner. Very mediocre at his job. In bed with leadership, so you can't even go to him or trust him.

I think they did what was good for them, just like you would do. Minus your spouse & kids, nobody gives a damn about you.

They are far from players......unless you mean with each other.
 






One day in the near future there will be a post or postings on the Teva board naming all the screw ups from Cephalon that took down the almighty Teva. And watching the high paid posers here that blog will be dead-on!
 






Wyeth was filled to the brim with douchebags. People so terrified that somebody would notice they had no job skills all they did was lick upper managements ass. Management completely destroyed what was once a great company to work for. We feel your pain. I am an ex Wyeth employee soon to be an ex Pfizer employee. I do want to say this one person C.H that was basically forced to leave Wyeth was one of the best I have ever worked for. She was very supportive of her workers which was most definately against Wyeth policy. Good Luck to you all.

I am not sure if I am following. Great acquisitions and hires? Do you mean people already in place when he came on-board, or hires that he made?

I was sarcasm.....he hired terrible people and acquired an even worse products as well as wasting millions on co-promotes with other companies that Ceph did not need.
 






Ok, so MM had some challenges. But there is no one like him at an SVP level in pharma that is a raging party animal. If only Wyeth minted more of these guys we would at least be enjoying the ride into lost civilizations.

OK... I know who you mean now. I almost forgot about him...However, I didn't know he was ex-Wyeth! Wow, that makes my case even more.

For the person who said these people positioned the company to be sold, that is ridiculous. Frank was doing that for a long time. There was a hostile takeover attempt and Teve got the company for much less than what Frank would have sold for... period. Who do you think from that group had any say so, whatsoever, about selling the company? None of them... If they "positioned" the company to be sold in any way, it was because they failed to make any of the products, outside of Oncology, profitable/successful and the share price tanked, which made us a great target for takeover. In that respect, yes, they positioned the company (by failing to be successful) to be taken over.
