Did PMO really lower the pay for Machinist Associate?

I just talked to someone recently. I ain't sayin names. How is conmed going to expect people to do a good job when less pay is being presented?? This is messed up conmen. Stop conning people. Taking away from workers will turn into workers taking back what they can. I heard Honeywell starts out second shift employees at around $18/hour before raises kick in after good performance after working for half a year.

Welcome to the club. Actually Conmed PMO is a great place to work. Unfortunately there are really no positions for associates with laser etch and saw being the exception. Current management has burdened experienced PMO employees with the task of cleaning up all the fuck ups and scrap produced by these associates. If you don't believe me then just do an audit. Not sure how they continue to cover up all this scrap cost. We also continue to promote and pay more at the specialist level for new hires that do not have the qualifications for the position. Crap in, crap out. Just saying. We were a much better company where quality is concerned paying PMG talent 78 per hour of which paid the PMG experienced MACHINISTS 35 dollars an hour. They were guaranteed 50 hours per week. Good guys and almost zero scrap cost. So I ask current management, talking to you Marc. With all the hidden scrap costs. How do you sleep at night? Karma is your bitch. Probably a good time to walk away.

I predict a massive walk out in building 1. When that happens, conmen will have no other choice than to hire overly priced workers from all over the country in order to fill in the workers that were underpaid and overworked and have to operate machines built in the 1980's/1970's. I heard scrap is piling up more now than ever. And rumors about numbers being manipulated in order for certain people to keep their job or get a bonus.

When we continue to see 10's of thousands of dollars of scrap in the QE's office not to mention the hold shelf. It may be an indication of a trend in regards to current managements choice to hire non skilled labor for less per hour. What is the real cost of all that scrap Marc? I'll tell you what it is you dumb F#@CK. It means that everyone with the skills and years of experience come to work everyday knowing they will have to deal with it. Fix it. This becomes a problem with work place moral. Sadly I see and hear about it everyday. We do not need leaders like this.

Just to say good job for Utica to clean house at Largo. I have met personally with the new site leader as well as the Director of HR. I am looking forward to what they bring to the table. Looking ahead and hope that they understand that the previous management in PMO promoted employees without required qualification experience or tenure. This is a slap in the face to those who have worked here for many years and show up daily to be the best and understand the importance of the job we have chosen to do. Current leadership in PMO is on the right path although not invested and I get it. Brian, Martha.....Talent wasted for their current positions. I'm sure there are others and Nubia shines as she has a passion for getting it done.

Keep posting misleading garbage. There's not many people in that department that do the best and understand importance of the job. They understand how to open and shut the door to their machine very loud. And crank up the speed in order to humor the manager's high standards for productivity and efficiency. Then the end mills and drills (etc. etc.) keep breaking so quickly because of this. But these executive r*****s demand the most numbers over quality. And every machinist needs to clean up after themselves. They're not too busy to do that, only whiny and moody about it.
