Many older reps from Cafepharma may remember a very famous viral email parody called “Diary of a Drug Rep”. It came out in the early 2000’s before social media was in full blast. It spread like wildfire mostly through the reps themselves. A link to a poster made from it is here. I was the author of it. It followed one female rep who started out as a idealistic, ex-cheerleader and ends up a little thick-skinned and hardened over the course of her career. It took a while but I finally expanded into a book on Amazon. It adds another dimension by blending in a retiring drug rep at the end of his career. Here is the link for the book.
