Ahh, well I applied for that one the last time they posted it. I even met for breakfast with the Amylin gal and she seemed to think we would work great together. But I never heard anything, and she said nobody ever asked her for any input on who would be working with her. I wonder if she has been picked up by BMS, or was she just kicked out.

Well, since I was laid off from major pharma last year, and have been trying to find another position ever since, I'll gladly take this gig.

You don't want to be on the contract, it is a sinking ship. Amylin is the worst company ever!!!The reps suck but think they are gods gift to pharma. The DSM'S are useless and can't sell to save their lives. Run for the hills.

No, this was not Albany, NY. This was 2000 miles from there.

I think I'll make my own decision whether I want to be on this contract. There are precious few openings in this area and it's like pulling eye teeth to get anything. I will gladly work this project.

good luck but why get on a contract that is unstable...it screws up ypur resume and looks like you jump around. This is ending in dec.

Just spoke with my Amylin rep, and she is emphatic that this is a two year contract ending Dec. 2013. In this market, I'll be ecstatic to work a new product like Bydureon until then.

What are the salary offers like? I have been on 4 contracts with inVentiv but stayed out after Cephalon went down so I could finally complete my graduate degree without having to travel for training. I was making 59,000 plus bonus for Amrix. (Which was very low, even for contract, IMHO.)How realistic is the bonus? Cell/Broadband reimbursement?

Have interview Friday but want to get an idea about some things first.

Salary range for this contract is $60 - $70K. Those with previous diabetes experience can negotiate up to $75K. Bonus at 100% to plan is $25,000 uncapped. Cell/Broadband reimbursement is $90/month.

I like this position. If you do well I think there may be a job at the end of this contract. There are reps quitting all the time you just have to hang in there. Also the 15K retention bonus is nothing to laugh at.

Have applied for numerous Ventiv positions and never hear back. I think they want 25-35 year olds.
