Diabetes Dir Nicole Rule to Reps:"Get Out of Starbucks"

What are your thoughts on the vmx she left the east central area about cvm scores?

" get off your phone and get out of Starbucks and go see customers!"

Obviously another example of an out of touch 'leader'. When I ask customers 'is there anything else I can do for you or your office to provide value?', "Starbucks" is exactly what they say. Then to impress my manager and display the right cvm behaviors, I have to call all my teammates and share that best practice. You all know its true.

I agree with her. We do need to get off phones and quit going to Starbucks.

She must ask herself. Why was I last in area last year and why are my reps on phone and at Starbucks?

we don't get bonused to sell like we once did. Thats why. thats a sr leaderhip problem. We get paid to leave voicemails and be leaders that are engaged.

I'm a sales rep and I get engaged to sell!

This is PRICELESS:) and BEST, BEST practice ever....

haha your a pharm rep not a sales rep. You probably know little to nothing about sellling...

Expect much better from a leader at lilly. After 20 + years its sad to see our leadership change. Never in all my years at Lilly have I indirectly heard of a leader speak to a sales force like that.

Shame shame

Sr leadership ....oxymoron

Stressed out or not that's not something you say to entire area. She really owes an apology to the area. There are representatives that fit that mold but most don't and do work very hard.

Comparing lillys customer service to novo nor disk is not fair. It's like going to a car wash having 6 people clean your car from same car wash company vs one person cleaning your car and having to ask another company (BI) down the street to come help you clean your customers car.

You are given a base salary to sell, being that's your job. Bonus is just that...BONUS. It is discretionary income from the company to reward success. It's their choosing to take it or leave it. Don't use dwindling bonus as an excuse to sit on your fat ass and do nothing. Your base salary is why you should be doing your job.

doesn't bode well for female leadership...shouldn't she have more important things to worry about...wrong image to send and way to flatten moral when it's already low....

This went and got her promoted to oncology! I guess that behind the scenes relationship with Noesges worked!
OK, I worked around Ms. Nicole Rule Droker or whatever her name is now back in 2010. Total and complete human garbage. She couldn't think here way out of a bowling alley.

I'm so glad I left this pathetic company and industry.

Shame on anyone who works at Lilly. You are all fools.
