Dermagraft is better than Apligraf..?

So after many years of touting how inferior Dermagraft was to Apligraf, the longstanding OI rep in my territory was touting the fact that DG was better than AG for diabetic foot ulcers. Needless to say the doctors laughed behind her back and enjoyed the fact that she had to eat her words after all the years of competitor bashing. What a joke

every one is laughing at us - what has changed? We used to be respected and now we are no. This does not help.

Move over, Epifix & Grafix will be are downfall. I'm running into reps not only in the VA's but now WC's. They are both aggressive with trial product and starting to grab some business...sux out here right now

There is no long term life with those products. Once the pass through is over they will be passed on.

Keep up that attitude and the past will repeat itself. Kind of sounds like "bc we are PMA approved we will be different". Medicare will address larger wounds or companies will address prices and more sizes in 2015. The new competitors are just flat out better than DG & AG & won't get caught with their pants down like OI did in 2013.

Oh, honey. If you really work for a center (which I doubt), don't you all have better things to do than gossip about reps? Like worrying about your patients?

We are happy to have two FDA approved products to sell. I can't imagine having to rep one of the 100 products made of ground up horsemeat or whatever. How embarrassing. Walking around with a study of one mouse as your "evidence."

If you really work for a center with doctors who don't care about evidence, then I feel sorry for you. There are better ways to make a living. If you're a rep for the horsemeat, better hope your stock gets a bump soon otherwise it's all over. There's a reason for the phrase "shit-eating grin."
