Derica was offered the job with the understanding that he would be leading a major downsizing. He chose to retire and move on because he has integrity. It's his integrity that has carried him on to a much brighter future. He will prosper while Lilly continues its moral decline.

Derica knows all the executive level secrets behind Lilly's bogus pricing schemes and ridiculously high-margins. No more games and lies about why Lilly must charge high prices. Lilly prices must drop drastically or alternatives will be used.

Time to sell those Carmel mansions before the property values drop.
 




Dave Ricks is intimidated by free thinkers. He moves out those that threaten his leadership. Look closely at the leaders he has appointed and the leaders he has removed. He promotes based on image. He is well spoken but lacks the ability to create. He has never signed a deal that made Lilly money. He should be a consultant not a CEO. The company would have been better off picking Enrique but after the Europeans ran the company into the ground his road was decided.
