DePuy (1099) or Zimmer (W2)

Zimmer has a lot of holes in the bag from a product standpoint and they are run by second rate yahoos at the higher levels. They are closing corporate stores and going back to distributors all over while laying off many of the in-house staff. If it is a strong distributor, you will be fine. If it is a corporate store, you will be out of a job in 12 months. I would strongly recommend that you stay away, they are a train wreck these days, just look at the spine blogger.

In terms of closing corporate stores and going back to distributors while laying off in house staff, that is a lie.

Yes, Zimmer has its own problems, but then so does everyone.

Zimmer products are top-notch, best in class. But, the company is being run right into the ground by a huge group of idiots. Run from ZMH for this reason alone.

The holes and layoffs are in the spine division, that is where the dysfunction is at it's worst.
I carried the big blue Z bag years ago and still consider it the best recon option on the market.
