Depomed contract

I've heard these are what is the 'flex' opportunity. does anyone know if u get a car for a flex position? car allowance is NOT the way to go- get the car if u can! also, what is the salary range for a flex position? I'm going to go for one coming from a full time in a huge company. thanks!

Yet another example of the idiots that troll CP.

Flex - no car, mileage instead.
Salary - 30s, based on experience. Bonus plan included.
Benefits - available for purchase.

Is the Depomed contract nothing but FLEX? Or are there some full time positions?

There are 78 flex positions posted throughout the country to call on PCPs. The specialty sales force started last September and is being rolled over directly in the coming months. There may be a couple openings across the country, but those are rare and due to management and/or poor formulary coverage.

this is what I'm taking away so far from what I've gathered on this website
1-flex time = 24 hours a week
2- 30-35K, anything more is outlandish to even try to negotiate for.
3-no company car but 250 a month reimbursement plus mileage...is this true? is so- how much do they pay per mile? in large territories this might not be beneficial.
4-benefits available for purchase
5-i was told interviews start may 15th- anyone hear anything else?
6- I was also told flex reps are hard to find- most people- and good people- want full time.

anyone know anything else besides this? one phone interview and one face to face or is there more....that seems a little outlandish for an rd to want to interview someone for a part time- but you never know!

All that info is correct-
you get .21/mile plus $250/month car allowance
I have a face to face interview next week in Philadelphia-hard to believe they are sending all the candidates there for an interview. So, i'm hoping i've beat out most of the competition. Salary is not much but the flexibility means a lot to me.
Anybody know who the interview is with??

Yes, very long day but actually a very positive experience over-all. The interviews were around an hour and while they did "press" into certain things, they were were fun and light-hearted. Plan on a VERY long day.... possibly not finishing up until after 8pm. Take some snacks, etc because you won't have access to food until after it's all over. Hotel was fine as well. I did get an offer.

Detailed brag book, prepared to tell them why me and what I offer, had a list of questions for them, was prepared to defend any "issues"..... you will have to detail if you get to the final interview. They are a fun-loving bunch.... don't stress, just be prepared.
