I would like to start a thread to pay tribute to the World's Most Demotivating Managers. These managers deserve a special place as they seem to be the pulse of every Medical Device/ Pharma company. When reps fail...what is a company to do? Well it seems that most companies decide to promote these bastards.

The first Nomination hails from Nashville Tennessee....... Shelby Mitchell come on down your the next contestant on Demotivating a Sales Rep.
 












There seems to be a trend and it is neither new nor positive. It appears many have had a bad experience working for Shelby Mitchell. He will browbeat you until your every last nerve is frayed. Perhaps this is why the turnover in Tennessee is so high.
 






Don't just pick on the DM's. They're just the minions of the RSD's and upper management. Kudos to the management team at Shionogi Pharmaceuticals, aka Sciele Pharma Sales, aka First Horizon. Thanks to the idiot Joe C a SP throwaway - he has driven the sales force into extreme depression. The entire PC sales team was canned on Thursday, by way of a conference call. Oh, and about 30% of Women's Health is now gone as well.

What's up with Nashville? So many demotivating managers in this town...but one stands head and shoulders above all others...all while still staying under the radar...
