Fuck you! You are short sighted morons that have ruined the Institutional Sales team. 20 months into the drug launch and about 50% of the salesforce have been forced out or fired. Yes, some reps need to get let go but 50% in 20 months is ridiculous! How many managers have been forced out? Zero.fucking zero! 4 months into the drug launch and the dumb asshole managers were already putting reps on a letter or warning(PIP) to save their own asses! Are fucking kidding me? Obviously, management has no idea how to sell an antibiotic or understand the formulary process. Can you see how this affects the morale of your team? The message being sent is that reps are completely disposable tools that managers use to protect their own tails. Has a manager EVER protected a good rep that had a bad quarter? The answer is NEVER. So as a rep, the minute things don't look good, I know that nobody will have my back. The minute I get a letter or warning, I will stop working and I will have 6 months to find another job. I may even have to go on medical leave. So every time a rep leaves, that territory is not worked for 9 months. Is this making sense Gerard? The stockholders should be calling for your head! Best message ever. So true. From DMs on up they should all be judged by the shareholders. They put so much pressure on the reps, it makes reps promote in any way possible just to keep our jobs. By the way, it's not just institutional that has these issues.

I was hired on in primary care. None of the managers sold outside the pharma world, I did and tried to solution sell more than blast providers and they actually would open up if you did not act like a pharma idiot. I never got off probation! I was like WTF? Bunch of insecure primodonnas everywhere all too busy with their nose up someone elses azz to figure out who would work better in the POD. 3 other people who never sold anything before or me or someone who actually cold caleld door to door! Glad I left this dump in 10 months. WORST COMPANY EVER!

** LOC's four months into launch: Also true
** No mangers turned over: Not true...Northeast has had two - one in NY State and one in Philly
** Newcomb being a step above the rest of the Senior Sales Management Team: True - also the only one with any significant hospital experience prior to Teflaro, and probably the only one with enough security in himself and his position to speak freely (although never in front of reps - Brent will carry the company line with everyone except the old timers)
** Management screwed up the launch of Teflaro: True - forcing reps to ask for stocking less than a month into the launch was an action that still reverberates negatively. Perhaps the single biggest blunder. That and instructing us to run around to ALL docs asking for emperic business right out of the gate....

Still remember being told by a certain RD in Arizona in an interview that Forest was going to tell the doctors how and where to use the drug. How did that work out for you? Talk about a clueless company.
 












When Teflaro was first lauched, we had reps come from Cubist, Pfizer/Wyeth, Astellas. Reps wanted to come here and launch this drug. Today a Cubist rep wouldn't never consider coming to Forest. The caliber of candidates now are folk that want to run away from a bad situation.

You guys are a joke to hospital sales. There isn't a more micromanaged salesforce in this industry. I don't know anyone in a good situation that would want to come here. If the economy wasn't so shitty, nobody would work here.
