Doctor M I write to you today to ask you do you ever ask yourself why sales suck? Why is it that you put so much control in the hands of only a few women in your company? Do you ever call your reps and ask them what is really going on? Do you know that your managers do not return the reps phone calls, emails etc. They do not return phone calls and emails to important clients. They cancel last minute on important appointments reps have with clients.
Dr. M I am sure you don't know half of what goes on out in the field. I am also sure the reps are blamed for most or all of the mistakes, lack of sales, etc; however don't you ever ask yourself why you have such a high turnover and so many complaints on this website. Don't you ever consider a differnt managment structure? A different type of training program. Asking a person to memorize a script is ridiculous Dr. M. If a rep is asked a question beyond the script and cannot answer it, the credibility of your company goes down the tubes, however your upper management seems to have you believe you have a great training progam. Don't you think its time for a change? Aren't you sick of hearing so much negativity? Isn't it difficult for you to sleep at night knowing that you ruin so many lives by just ending employment of good people who are tried so hard when maybe its not their problem. If it is happening with the reps over and over maybe its another problem Dr. M?

Well said! A large part of sales is building a relationship that the client trusts. Not acting like a robot spewing out rehearsed lines. VT has killed the morale and spirit of your sales "team" by running it with fear, intimidation and ultra micromanagement. The competition closes the gap everyday! You can continue to stick your head in the sand or make a change ASAP! Your choice!
 


















I like your attempt to inform Dr. M of the realities that exist in his company. He definitely deserves to know. Unfortunately, I don't think it will make much diff in his mind. The women that run this division are very manipulative and they have him distracted with "false positives". He needs someone with some sales management experience to come in and overhaul this division. You see when some like Valerie is running things and does not have the respect of her sales reps, they turn on you, and instead of working hard to grow they do the absolute minimum necessary to keep there jobs. This is what is going on right now at MDL, just look at your numbers Dr. M
 






I agree. this little person with a napoleon complex ( name withheld, but she's completely lost in life, control freak to the Nth degree, lies constantly, manipulates and is also the sales director ) has somehow gotten Dr. M to believe in her. If only Dr. M would freaking wake up and start asking his sales dir the tough questions and be prepared to fire her ass on the spot with anger. He needs to hire someone who has a history of bringing a sales force together and work on relationships...internally ( with each other ) and externally ( clients ). This new sales dir should have an open door policy and state that nobody will be canned by asking questions or reporting anything on anyone. The current sales dir is using FEAR to manipulate the people around her. I've never seen or even heard of someone like val. She acts likes she's in the 7th grade and she talks to her click about other people behind their back. She is in dire need of a therapists' couch; unless she's already spending time on one periodically.

Very True. VT is a bipolar, anal-rentive, NO-experienced, person. She claims to be religious. Funny. She is EXACTLY like all of the hollywood movies when they make fun of someone who is relgious. All of the jokes about a religious zealot. It is her. It's too late, Dr. M. You had your golden opportunity. And now, other companies have developed a similar product and will take away your market share. Their product may not be as good as yours. However, their sales numbers will demolish you. Why? They have managers who respect their employees. Even if you didn't add a single dollar to anyone's paycheck, but you would have changed management....it would have made a world of difference. I know you don't like reading how so many employees are bad-mouthing your company and VT. I know it must hurt inside to read how your company has by far the largest number of complaints and negative employees of any company on Cafepharma. It doesn't have to be this way. You know who 99% of all this negativity is directed at, not you per se, but VT. You change management and bring someone in from the outside. You instruct them to build on relationships with employees and clients. Everytime you have turnover in a territory, it reflects back on you in a negative way; not just from clients. Look at it this way......if you don't make any profound and difficult decisions....how much longer can you last? When you're in your study at home and you're reflecting on how to improve the situation and you know you will have to make that difficult decision about the person all of this is directed towards and bringing your company down......my prayers are with you. elohim yevarekh otkha...(אלוקים יברך אותך). VT is the problem. Not the solution, my old friend.
 






Props to the above post. I have literally never met someone in a professional setting that is so hated and spoken as horribly about as you know who. It astounds me that her and MDL have not been sued by a class action lawsuit due to their practices. The shady way they explain, pay, and verify your bonus plan is less legitimate than a drug dealers tax return.

what was the reason for termination? this is wrongful termination. I don't understand how vt can get away with doing things like this. a huge lawsuit is coming down the pipeline. i know mdl has been sued before and I know vt has been involved in at least 1 personal lawsuit. with so much animosity from so many people........lawyers will have a field day.

Any dumbass can copy-n-paste any language in the world. Surely, vt didn't terminate someone last week that normally might have stayed employed a little longer because of a child's toy translator. Ask yourself this Dr. M. Within your other companies do you have this much hatred towards one person ( VT ) and extreme high turn-over? Of course not. So what's the answer? You're allowing one single person to bring down your sales force.
