Word on the street is that Amgen oncology will be replacing all Onyx commercial after the EU launch....EU team will come back to run the US commercial while Onyx commercial is let go. Basically, once EU Kyprolis team learns how to market the drug, they will replace all Onyx staff and train current Amgen oncology to fill out in-line staffing needs. Hiring a chief commercial officer for Onyx was only for show and tell.

It's sad to know that Amgen wants Onyx to be "cooperative" and to teach them about their products and companies only to be teaching the very people who will be replacing you....I suspect the OBU/Onyx sales force merger is the first step in the Amgen takeover
What's so sad about it? No one at Onyx cares...that's what you don't get. People are hanging around for the paycheck since things haven't changed all that much. They'll get their retention bonus in October and then if it changes too much they'll retire or leave for a new job elsewhere. You are putting way too much emotion behind this. We came to Onyx to build something, we did, and then we sold it, many of us made a couple million - that was the plan all along. It's over, we know that but we already accomplished what we wanted to. The easy paycheck and the retention bonus is keeping most of us around until the next thing comes along.
