Daxas approved by FDA why is nobody talking about it?

Everybody here seems to be wanting a turn around.

Well this is it. A new product. Why is everybody so down?

My guess is because it's not being made in NY. I guess most posters here are more interested in the Melville and Hicksville plants because it's where they work.

While Daxas is good for the parent company, what does it directly do for the Nycomed US manufacturing? I ask not to provoke, just to know.

It may not be made NY but the sales force will benefit.

I am not in in the US.

If the company has more money everybody working for it <should> benefit.

Equipment, pay, size of field force. The other products should grow. Then manufacturing gets a newer better factory and equipment.


I did not read your reply before the Takeda take over. US Nycomed will not get Daxis.

Daxas IS available in the US.
It's called Daliresp here, and it's made by Forest Labs. Nycomed sold the rights to Forest for 100 million.
