Unless sales are completely different, the mgr has very little to say when it comes to negotiating starting salary. That's all done through human resources and upper mgt. As for Dave, I think he's a moron, but others out there seem to love him. Don't expect much in the way of training from him because he doesn't know much about this company either. He gets by on his long term reps in MI who are already trained and been doing this job long before he showed up.
 






I just interviewed with this guy and was NOT impressed. Who let this dimwit run a region? He is asking me if I know certain people, past reps, docs, etc., who cares? Get this guy out of your offices and into something usefull, like a courier's car...

He knows my past manager and got the scoop from her- top in division, presidents club twice and other awards. It was more like he was asking for a job with my lab. He just came off as devious and not fully engaged- unprofessional.

The next person that interviews with him should ask him questions about LabCorp or the testing. Completely disengaged manager who leaves a number of people scratching their heads as to why he has a job. I've heard he can sell, but as for being a manager, you'd better be resourceful and a complete self starter. Because he couldn't teach you anything about the job!
 






let just say he does not train sales at all.he is lazy. histo in livonia closed after that helped sales in michigan to offer the quick results. not to mention an awsome staff in histo. and the pathologist. now the day lab stat and same day testing is losing money. soon as the put they put 2 and 2 together it to0 will be closed. dave does not prepare sales at all to have a good background on what they are selling.he just sighns them up at sends them out for the slaughter.
