Is Darlene still there? She single handedly launched Avonox and built Biogen to where it is today- still can"t figure out why she was fired?
I met the woman in the last 4 weeks and was able to have some conversations with her as well as hear her conversations with other people. How in the world is she in a leadership position? This place should be completely embarrassed of her being in a leadership position. The things she was saying were so basic fundamental ideas and thoughts I was embarassed for her. I am hoping Sr leadership will see the lack of originality intelligence and leadership here. She brings down the image of this organization someone please explain to me how she got into this position!???

The key in your response is that you have only known her for s short time - totally worthless and yes she fights for a select few that are covering her shortcomings! No one can save the sinking ship - but when she moves to the next interview, she will claim she made everything the best at Questcor- she is the worst leader.
Don't know who you are but you have a talent for reading people... Although her weaknesses are pretty obvious to most. "... how she got into this position???" Mega-million dollar question. She has her cult of followers... they protect her and she protects them. They came to QCOR ahead of her and talked leadership into bringing her over after being fired from Biogen and being unemployed for some time. After all these years in neuro, very few thought leaders know her. Control freak Eldon liked her because she was his social opposite and "yes" person like so many others. I doubt she lasts beyond August. As someone said, "keep the steamroller going...".
Ditto. Craps on good people who are not in her inner circle. MH was one of the good ones. She hated him from day 1. Where is he now? GONE!!!!
So true... he was competition to her. Because she doesn't know RA from SLE. (Sent email the other day with "ULAR" acronym. Hey dumbass, it's EULAR) She couldn't stand the fact the he was respected for his knowledge. He built TEAMS that worked together. Strong communication, collaboration, execution. Now, teams all working in silos. No conference calls, no communication, no congratulations, no leadership and no accountability. I hope he calls me when our stock is vested.
