For those of you who were at Mallinckrodt long enough to know Darl Rom, would you be willing to help some fellow reps out? For some reason Darl Rom has been selected to lead the commercial team at Dendreon. Supposedly she is known for driving high growth in complex pharmaceutical markets. What she accomplished at Mallinckrodt was impressive. Based on most observations, solid and smart leadership are not terms that can be used to describe the approach she has used thus far. It's very difficult to reconcile what we've seen since she joined Dendreon with the tremendous growth she brought to Achtar at Questor/Mallinckrodt. Any insights that can help shed light on how she was able to do this?
