I was told by my recruiter that many offers went out but not all positions had leading candidates. Those offers are only official when the candidate passes the background check and drug screen.

If the candidate that the offer goes to passes all those tests, then the other candidates for that same position will be notified that the position they were interviewing for was filled. If the candidate does not pass the background check or drug screen, an offer will go out to the next leading candidate.

It just sucks that the process takes this long! I hate the waiting game. I thinks this is a great company but I do not like how long it takes my recruiter to get back to me. I know she has a lot to do but two weeks and nothing is to long in my opinion in not hearing anything.

New poster here. Thanks for the update. It will be a month later this week since my interviews, and although I have attempted to contact the D.M. and the recruiter several times, I have only heard back from the recruiter. That was with my initial thank you note, and she said she would contact me once she heard something. Ouch. (don't call us , we'll call you?)

I just got a note from the interviewing DM. She stated that DMs are instructed not to communicate with anyone they interviewed. All communication must go through recruiter based upon their contract. She stated the slow process in getting people past the background check/drug screen has taken longer than anticipated and hence the long delay in alerting others who are vying for the same position.

Blah blah..... whatever reason, the communication with the recruiters has been disappointing. Seems like they are rushed and have no time to complete a sentence let alone a conversation about a position.
