D&R Reorganization

D&R, Reg Affairs, Global QA. Its like walking into a plane crash. If you have to downsize, why not try to do the best you can to reorganize to create better smaller more integrated teams ?

Global QA - still disconnected from accountability for the crappy BAD interpretations of FDA rules that is emitted from their stinking matrix.

Reg Affairs....what a bunch of mud sucking slow moving slugs. New products developed over years and launched....and STILL waiting for Reg approval in important markets. Other product filings getting slaughtered by Reg. Bodies. So much for Speed to market and the Office of Product Acceleration.

D&R. Just like the rest of the re-org. Random slashing layoffs. Focus seemed to be on keep as many management layers intact as possible. Still run by a bunch of clueless morons.

Did Valeant actually pay McKinsey for this ? A two year old with a hammer could do a better job. Or were Valeant and McKinsey guided by B+L mid-management who seem to survive thru all ownership changes ??

Yes, yes, yes, and yes. You have so captured what has been taking place. I want to shake your hand.

Yes....this will be interesting. Just can't wait to see who will be in the next round of layoffs.

The people that got laid off did most of the work. If the Mid-management types that are left can get things done over their morning, lunch and late afternoon coffee breaks and their endless meetings maybe there will not be anymore layoffs.

Realistically, they now have research type people now doing late stage development work. Since research people hate this kind of work they will probably get a workforce reduction without anymore layoffs.
