Drug seems promising, but company hasnt learned anything from previous launches.

-No rebate cards at time of sample launch
-No money to support launch
-No support to assist Medical Affairs questions
-100 reps to launch 1st in class drug? Didnt company have more with launch of Zegerid?
-No communication from VP of Sales since launch (what a waste the person is)
-Glumetza flounders due to lack of 500mg product; sales force will pay for corporates mistakes out of their own pockets even though they are above their IC goals.

Santarus just simply does not have the leadership or enough quality individuals in upper management to take this company to the next level.

Whats it like selling a drug that once you titrate to a therapeutic dose the pharmacy can just switch it to a low cost generic?

There is no generic equivalent for Cycloset. See the info at drugsatfda.com.

Did any of you morons sell zegerid? was zegerid ab rated to be switched to omeprazole? or any other ppi for that matter? Use your freakin' head, of course it will be switched at the pharmacy to save pts some cash

Didn't we sell zegerid as working differently than other ppi's? and the pharmacists knew this too? Did it stop them from switching it? How does that saying go about not studying history and making the same mistakes again and again? You need to treadwater until your GI products come out.....
