CVS versus Express Scripts

Love the free enterprise system. Now we have competition between the suppliers too.

You have Express Scripts with a third world offering of 600 pills and unknown drug interactions and CVS with the best product to cure Hep C.

Love it!

Pride goes before a fall.

This is my 2nd pharma company. My first, one of the "Big Three", was supremely arrogant, always charging "premium prices for premium products", and never offered any type of price breaks. We pushed OLs, P&T members hard to demand our drugs, and paid them handsomely under the table in various ways.
Managed Care companies HATED us, and vowed to wreak revenge when our mega-blockbusters went generic. Well, suffice it to say that they paid us back: when our competitors went generic, they KILLED US! Our stock slumped, and the company's field force is now a magnitude smaller than it was 15 years ago. In fact, many of my former colleagues are here at Gilead!

Let's show a little class, shall we? It sucked when we lost traction at ESI, and feels good that CVS is picking up our spirits. But to quote The Wolf from Pulp Fiction "Let's not start ******* each other's **** quite, yet…" Let's not forget that PP-ACA hasn't fully kicked in yet, and health plans are going to treat all of pharma like a freakin' 2nd hand goods bazaar in Algeria. My significant other is a manager at a big health plan. I have been assured that they aint playing around, come the end of 2015.
