Has anybody heard how we are all getting out budgets slashed? When does this ever happen so late in the quarter? Layoffs looming ? PC is panicking

You must be new to pharma and do not understand how a product lifecycle works. Farxiga goes off patent in April of 2026. We already have an authorized generic out. Company has slowly been cutting back for months.. Farxiga will be done by April of 2025

Looks like another Christmas massacre is brewing.

Heard from an insider yesterday wave one will be the November "Happy Holiday" knifing. AZ cuts in November after MTP and typically July if another is needed. Don't let the stock price take your eye off the guillotine. The challenge is it's a very difficult job market right now and despite preparing for the news, it is devastating when you get that call. Unemployment pay is a joke and not easy to get and doesn't last long. Also heard they are repurposing people so hopefully a chance to stay. As bad as it is here, the checks come every 2 weeks and the healthcare premiums are covered.

Definitely head count reduction in CVRM including all selling teams who promote products in this division. Renal CV PCX. Management heavy for layoffs.

Don’t you remember when Katherine Keller said there would not be any layoffs? That was on a Friday. We were all good for the weekend until Monday mornings e-mail said to stay home and wait for a call from your manager. Pretty big sales force reduction took place, don’t always believe what you hear unfortunately.
