I've been in the industry for almost 20 years. This has to be the worse realignment process, in terms of territory mess clean up, that I've ever experienced.
When sales do not make plan in Q3-Q4 I'm sure the field will get the majority of the blame for "losing focus." You'd hope that someone in leadership would realize the level of disruption caused by this process. If nothing else, get a refund from whatever consultant advised this role out
