Eliquis will be promoted until very close to the market entry of its generic. Despite upcoming pricing headwinds there is more business to be had. There will be increasing intrusion of generic Pradaxa which is happening now and by Q2 2027 generic Xarelto will be a factor.
Afib prevalence is expanding. Every bit that can captured is big revenue.

The difference is that Xarelto has been a sinking ship for quite some time. No growth, market share deflated.

While it was certainly a surprise to see the plug pulled on Xarelto promotion so far in advance of LOE, there was no attainable path to creating additional revenue in the VTE and Afib. Eliquis owns the space.
 






RBD said BMS place to be. Not with leaving for 20k more the grass isn’t greener! This was said during end of year call. It was laughable a lot of good cv people are leaving. Cytokinetics are reaching out to reps.

Well can we have a little bit of certainly we will have a job in a month around here? We hear rumors every week and frankly it is getting hard to concentrate on staying
BMS better start a retention plan and fast for current reps Cyto is reaching out to all levels. BMS has outstanding CV reps but they need to be smart about this. I am not sure they have the strategical foresight.
