Hold on to your hats folks. Valeant has not said there will be any job cuts. This is all just pure speculation. Unless there is some specific information like managers asked to provide lists of people to cut don't sweat it. B+L does not make drastic changes. It has not had a general large scale layoff in more than 10 years. Why would it happen now?

The B+L way is slow trimming of the workforce. Expect two years of this rather than one big layoff.

This is true; however you are forgetting one thing. MP made it clear that Valeant will be calling the shots not B&L.

They need to look at how long someone has been in territory, from both Bausch and Ista; stronger relationships are what drive this business. Can't go by titles or awards bc Bausch is known for having a dysfunctional awards system. And look at training? How do you make it to training hq with a year experience-talk about no credibility. I think this valeant thing could be a way to finally take out the trash-enjoy platinum all you transplants that didn't earn it!
 












This is going to be an easy summer; with sale, anottttttttthhhhhher adjustment-lol-and layoff/realignment, stupid to care. Everyone that's been through this knows performance doesn't matter with consultants-all the guys in the sky see is tenure and zip codes. If you have already been underperforming and have write ups, you're an easy target
 






















































Strategy-if you have a poorly performing territory, take it easy. If you have a performing Terr, take it easy. Why-realignment coming for sure! Everyone in platinum ranks now, will be at the bottom soon; with the exception of a couple of consistent reps-and I mean couple!
