Funny and true. They will keep more women and minorities due to political Correctness. Not that there are not good employees in this group. All I'm saying is some of their decisions will be based on this. Sad but true. Pharma has become a comedy show and a joke. Look at how we were trained to sell. Its all smoke and mirrors. Image. Come on, it's 10 am on a Friday and 161 people are viewing the Novartis cafe pharma message board, do you think anything is being SOLD today by a sales representative? Do you think it matters who they lay off? No one is working anyway.

Yes only the most "dedicated" and dumbest work on Fri. Other days you "work". I admit things have changed in bigpharmafia but you still don't work as "work" word is supposed to mean. No need to. All you need is to be smart and do the shit they ask you to do at 30% or less capacity. Know a rep who put in 35 years with this co. but he claims (and I believe him) he gave them max 15 years of "work" during that time. If you looked at him you'd say he is no more than 45 years old at 70. That is what smart work will give you, LIFE. Otherwise if you do what they want you to do, your ass will be done way before your time.
So the lucky ones will be out and given another shopt at LIFE but if you stay, heed this advice: just "work"* for them. Capishe?

Give unto Caesar what is Caesar's... It's worked very well for this 30 year veteran. Rarely work a 5 hour day, rarely work more than 3 days a week. Just keep sales above the 50%, make sure when the boss comes to ride we're seeing clients that know my name, I know theirs.
