Culture Change

I am interviewing for a Sales Role with this company. I see some older posts on a different thread about the culture. Have things gotten better now that the dust has settled from the transition from J&J?

Tom has really put the company on the right course.
He has surrounded himself with a great management team.
Most of all he has filled the R&D pipeline.
Come join a winning team if you can make the cut. It tough to get in here now.

You've got to be joking!
If Tom has a course, no one no where it's going.
He has inherited a bunch of hacks as management and the new folks are clueless.
R&D....much better...I can't argue with you there.
Come join a team that is constantly cutting out bonuses (reduction after Q1) and treating employees like dirt.
Oh, and don't worry about how tough it is to get in now, there will be lot's of positions open very soon to apply for.

Has MP helped or hurt the management team?

MP seems to be a decent guy. However, I don't see him ever do much other than running the numbers and asking about trends? There's not much strategic development or employee development. It's still to early to tell; he is having to manage all of the managers across the country right now and I'm sure he didn't get a raise to do it.

His vision for R&D and all of the new R&D center is what will make this company.
Behind the scenes the word is about 10 years before most of the new technology is thru clinicals and cleared by the FDA. So just hang in there for awhile.

i agree mp is a good guy. spent time with him at our ntm and he took 1 of my top docs to dinner and did great. new products r on their way because r&d show them to us on every monthly webcast. Its real and they r not far from being in our bag.

agreed. new stuff isn't a pipe-dream--- it's real, it's innovative and will be here sooner than most think. not sure where you got that '10 years' from...but couldn't be further from the truth.

You naive idiots...you are owned by a private equity company. Do you really think that they are interested in a long term solution for your business. Google private equity so that you can understand what you work for. In 3-4 years, Mammotome will be dismantled and sold off to various interests. Devicor will make their millions & you will be starting over someplace else.

It's about to get really real! This an elite organization. To the competition: Please continue to sleep, you are very secure.

I have been reading the posts regarding Devicore and Mammotome. Any other opinions other than this? So far everything everything I have read is that this place blows and everyone is as a broke as a Pharma Rep.
