Hello All,
I was contacted by an internal recruiter for a CSR position in my area. At the beginning of the interview he stated that I would be an "associate" sales representative and not a CSR due to my experience level. But he said all the difference was in the positions is a title and 150k at plan instead of 200k at plan of the CSR. I currently have made 120k at plan past two years so either way financially it would be an increase for me. Is this true? Would anyone be so kind as to explain the differences and what you would actually make financially as an Associate rep?
I currently have two very strong years of selling surgical capital under my belt and good numbers as well. Prior to that multiple years with a fortune 200 B2B Co..
I know multiple reps, whom I've worked with in the past, that have the same level of surgical OR experience (2 yrs) as I do but were offered and took CSR positions. Is this a negotiable situation once you get to the final stages or during the manager interviews?
I feel it is a great opportunity but little understanding of the Associate label.
Thank you in advance for the information
