CSR/Surgeon Relationship Policy

Is there a specific Intuitive Surgical policy prohibiting a CSR having a sexual/dating relationship with one of her Surgeons who performs many Robotic Procedures? If so, what is the consequence? Do most Hospitals have a policy against this as well for their Surgeons? Such as "Conflict of Interest" etc.

yes, this would be a violation of all sorts of rules. That said, whore it up while you are there. It's better than what ISI is doing to most pts, hospitals, reps, etc.
 






Thank you, as I am not an employee and yes, it sounds like an obvious answer to my question, but I would not know if each employee would be specifically trained on this and therefore aware of a corporate policy, same goes for the surgeon of the hospital. I am assuming that there is a specific course or certification the employee would have completed making them aware of the policy?
 
























We all know this going into this industry, most of these guys are pigs always looking for that desperate Rep who thinks that they will hop on the money train and quit working. That's why most of these surgeons are divorced. The Rep has no idea that they will always jump to the next desperate Rep. Either way, its a big gamble for their careers to do what they are doing. Both the company as well as the Hospital/School/Institution have conflict of interest policies in place that forbid this. So if this is going on, its not really smart on either of their behalf as they are playing with fire.
