I was just part of a st. Jude trial that failed and am having more pain then I did before the trial. The lead moved and I was in agony a whole week. This is just the trial not the implant. I'm wondering what kind of damage this did to me. My whole right side of my body went numb the first night. When waking up in the hospital room after the procedure I told my doctor right away that my ankle pain did not decrease at all. Only the glass in foot feeling. They had me come in for a adjustment on one of the two leads and ended up turning the ankle lead off then nurse had me turn on again the next day. My leg cramped up days my back too. The test was supposed to help my ankle and foot. My buttocks were numb for the whole week as I reported to the nurse every time she called. My head was numb for 2 nights especially the right side same side as injury. I am so upset that they didn't take another xray when they made me go back to check on it. I had four more days of agony. Now I'm worse and the dr. Claims I must have moved and the lead was damaged. This was never giving me any relief. They have a before photo that shows them in the correct place but now I have to wonder if they were bumped b4 I came to out of placing leads. I never felt any relief on the ankle only leg cramps and body numbing. I'm worried I'm more damaged now. What can I do? does anyone know what could have gone wrong in a lead that moves. I already paid them for this trial that did not work. It made me worse. This was in Camarillo CA. Spanish hills pain specialists. I'm super bummed cuz I like my dr. I'm sad it's come to this. I feel like they don't care that I am walking around with a leg that feels like it's been in a light socket now.
