Delayed issues with the FDA and approval of the 40K dose. Tested Patient population had high incidence rates of colonopathy. There are other issues, but this was the main one.

At this point. Never. The FDA will never approve a higher dosed PE when there are other 25K unit doses on the market. Over the years the increase has been gradual..3-5K units of lipase. Abbvie can only expect clinical trial failures when they try to increase the dose by 15K in one shot. Patients should stay far from Abbvie and Creon.

Not patient-centric, but profit-centric. They are basically trying to close their 20K unit dose of lipase. We all know what happened to Dolly the cloned sheep. She lived for seven years.
